Pollinator's Paradise

This corner lot in the Roseway neighborhood was designed to support pollinators. We removed most of the grass in the front and created a heavily planted rockery to stabilize the slope adjacent to the sidewalks. We filled the garden with great pollinator plants such as Lavender, Blanket Flower, Penstemon, Black-Eyed Susans, Coreopsis and more.

In the south parking strip we creatively grouped natives to create a mini habitat in the shade of their existing Maple trees. In the sunniest part of the yard we placed two garden boxes built with Restoration Juniper from Sustainable NW Wood. We installed two walkways with large stand up flagstones in the parking strip for guests parking on the street.
