Mt Tabor Permaculture Garden
One of the main goals of this project was to create a space for the owner's interest in permaculture. On this oversized Mt Tabor lot we put in trellises, garden boxes, and planted copious amounts of fruit trees, berries and other edible and medicinal plants.
In addition to edible plants we planted a wide variety of flowering perennials to create habitat for beneficial insects and pollinators. We used natural stone to create stepping stone paths for access as well as two additional patio areas for entertaining. A drainage channel was necessary to protect the foundation of the artists studio in the back and we made it into a beautiful dry creekbed feature.
